Who i am

My name is Johnny Rodriguez and I am a passionate designer driven by the philosophy that design is more than just visuals on a page or screen, it is a way of shaping experiences, telling stories, and influencing the culture around us. I’m a naturally curious designer who enjoys exploring new ideas and finding creative ways to solve problems. Whether I’m sketching concepts, refining details, or learning a new tool, I love the process of turning an idea into something tangible. My goal is to create work that is thoughtful, engaging, and leaves a lasting impression. I’m always eager to expand my skills and contribute to projects that make an impact.

What i make

I have a strong foundation in print design. I specialize in environmental and event design, as well as packaging and branding design. I’ve developed everything from collectible blind boxes; designing the toys themselves, crafting the packaging systems, and building the promotional materials that bring them to life to cohesive brand identities and immersive environmental graphics that shape physical spaces. I enjoy building complete design ecosystems where every detail works together to tell a unified story.

In addition to physical design, I create digital assets including social media graphics, email newsletters, and other branded materials that extend a project’s presence across platforms.

Creativity doesn’t stop when the project ends. Outside of client work, I’m constantly creating through photography, painting, and drawing. For me, design isn’t just what I do it’s how I see the world. My creative hat never really comes off.

how i think

I believe great design begins with understanding people. Before creating visuals, I take time to understand the audience, the goals, and the problem that needs to be solved. Every project is an opportunity to explore ideas, ask questions, and discover solutions that are both creative and practical.

I approach design as an iterative process, where research, sketching, experimentation, and feedback all play an important role. Rather than settling on the first idea, I enjoy refining concepts until they communicate clearly and create a meaningful experience.
